My sculptures are in essence, the result of an invariable preoccupation with the elusive nature of the human condition. From process drawings to three-dimensional works, I find myself in a perpetual state of questioning only to arrive at the realization that there is no inherent right or wrong answers. My pieces are manifestations of this latter process; hence, any interpretation by the viewer is as valid as mine.
I use the human form as a raw yet powerful vehicle of bringing shape to my thoughts. My figures are nameless archetypes that exist in spaces that are void of time and place. They, as I do, endlessly search, struggle and endeavor to survive
