Alan Sakhavarz Profile

For the past three decades Alan Sakhavarz has been creating and exhibiting paintings and sculptures to convey his message and his interpretation of the world around him through his art.
His paintings and sculptures depict a wide range of subject matters, from whimsical
depiction of the human form to animals and landscape. He is a signature member to the Oil painters of America and the Society of animal artists. . His artworks have earned him awards and honours and have been exhibited in important Museums across Canada and the United Sates. His works can be found in numerous corporate and private collections throughout North America.
Alan’s works are the result of first hand knowledge and field studies in remote and
spectacular locations across the continent and have provided him with abundance of first hand knowledge and inspiration that manifest in his paintings and sculptures.
He studied sculpture and advance mould making in Ontario College of Art and Design and working and exhibiting, alongside masters and his peers whose work he greatly admires, has earned him an international recognition. Sakhavarz work have been published in limited edition prints and he is the winner of 1994 Wildlife Habitat Canada Stamp competition
